Silver Peak to showcase latest innovations at Cloud Expo Asia

Cloud Expo Asia is just around the corner and Silver Peak has announced it will be showcasing its latest series of innovations in SD-WAN.

Taking place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore for two days from October 11, Silver Peak will be revealing its advanced SD-WAN solutions, among others.

According to the company, they’ve surpassed more than 500 customer deployments around the globe with geographically distributed enterprises swiftly embracing SD-WAN.

Silver Peak affirms this enables them to connect users to applications with the flexibility to use any combination of connectivity, including broadband, without compromising network or application performance.

“Today’s hyper-connected, cloud-first enterprises are demanding greater agility and efficiency from SD-WAN solutions that can dramatically simplify and consolidate branch office infrastructure,” says David Hughes, founder and CEO of Silver Peak.

“We will be showcasing our EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution which has successfully endured a series of rigorous network packet-loss resilience tests, with real-world, challenging network scenarios, further validating the solution’s ability to maintain peak network and application performance and availability.”

Hughes will be speaking personally at the show, with his presentation (titled ‘SD-WAN From software-defined to self-driving’) taking place at 3:45pm on October 12 at the Cloud Expo Asia Keynote Theatre.

The keynote will center around the driving forces behind the shift from legacy systems to SD-WAN, framing the business benefits that enterprises can reap from a hybrid and SD-WAN solution deployments.

In addition, Hughes will also delve into the roles that artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning will have to play in enabling the self-driving network of the future.

Silver Peak’s vice president for service providers and cloud, Shayne Stubbs will also be speaking at the event, focusing on SD-WAN and how it enables cloud-first network transformation in addition to what software-defined networking and networking functions virtualization will mean for telcos and cloud service providers.
