ServiceNow continues aggressive expansion into APAC with new MD appointment

ServiceNow today announced the appointment of Nick Lambert to the role of managing director for Asia.

This seems to be part of ServiceNow’s aggressive expansion into the Asia Pacific, with its new office in Sydney opening last month in addition to a number of job appointments, including Adam McCarthy to the role of head of alliances and channels, for APJ, Brent Paterson as head of alliances and channels for ANZ, and Hamish Miles to country manager for New Zealand.

The company asserts with these new roles they intend to increase their focus on the partner ecosystem regionally, and continue to support alliance and channel partners across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

ServiceNow affirms Lambert will be based in Singapore and responsible for leading the ASEAN and North Asia teams to continue establishing ServiceNow’s customer base, developing key business strategies and accelerating the partner ecosystem in the region.

Lambert has been in the industry for 15 years now, previously holding senior management positions at Telstra, Vodafone, Cable and Wireless, and IBM where according to ServiceNow he built and developed high performance teams who drove strong customer outcomes and revenue growth.

Vice president and general manager for ServiceNow Asia Pacific and Japan, Jimmy Fitzgerald says they are delight to welcome Nick to the team, not least because he is an accomplished leader with a track record of success.

“I am excited to see how he will scale and accelerate our operations in Asia”, says Fitzgerald.

“Cloud computing reaching its tipping point in Singapore and with the opportunities that brings, Nick’s experience will further drive our business growth.”

Lambert says it’s an interesting juncture within the industry.

“This is an exciting time for ServiceNow in Asia,” says Lambert.

“As local organisations continue to focus on building intelligent automation capabilities, I am looking forward to working with our customers to improve their service levels and deliver game-changing economics.”
