7 and Mitsui have announced a reseller agreement that will make the vendor’s AI-powered products and solutions available to large enterprises throughout Japan.
According to the companies, the partnership is tailored to help Japanese companies better understand, anticipate and act on consumer intent in order to improve customer experience.
The exclusive agreement with 7 will enable Mitsui to resell 7 technology through its significant business network in Japan and through its various CRM and IT affiliates.

By reselling 7 technology, Mitsui will be expanding its offerings to include cloud-based solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide a personalized, predictive and effortless customer experience.
The distributor will initially focus on making the following solutions available in Japan:
- 7 Virtual Agent technology enables companies to automate interactions and deflect calls away from high-cost channels
- 7 Chat uses intent-driven engagement and predictive analytics to enhance customer experience and improve agent effectiveness – both of these technologies are tightly integrated
